Confession

- Bless me Father for I have sinned...
- Hold it there son, don’t be so hard on yourself, things were cognitively different then.

Don't we have a moral duty to consider different scenarios before sinning?

Elisa:
My intention is satiric. No confessor would say this. You are responsible for your blindness, your scotosis, particularly if it is in relation to something that has been well recognised to be evil down through history. One doesn’t simply go along with being conditioned by society and its blind spots.

Today I learned that, at my wife's church (Episcopalian), those who partake of the Eucharist are offered the choice of regular or gluten-free host. Evidently this is common practice at most churches in our town. Would you like the Merlot with that, or perhaps a nice Chardonnay?

I suggest A nice little oecumenical chardonnay, Jordan Water grand cru, eirenic in intent.
